POCKET TEAM TIMER

This is an extensive Time Tracker intended for the Serious Coach or Trainer.

It is designed to be used on a POCKET PC

Created to allow easy timing and reporting of multi-runner Track and Cross Country events. Records lap times,splits and final times for all runners. Can be used as a SingleTimer or Multi-Timer. A Stopwatch and Lap Timer on a Pocket PC. Great for Running Work Outs, Training and Coaching. Saves Times and Saves Time.

Designed by a high school track and X-country coach, the software supports timing and recording of multiple contestants participating in track and cross country events. Features include:

Meets, events and entrants can be created and modified on the device AND on your desktop PC
Meets, events and entrants can be set up and ready on race day.
Last minute race day changes can be made.
Any number of runners are allowed.
Runners are identified by their full Names
Entrants can be selected by sex,age,year, or any criteria.
Timing is recorded in seconds or 1/10th sec.
Final Times/Lap Times and Split Times are recorded for each runner.
Screen fonts are customizable to allow for more runners.
Race results are available immediately after each event
Event Results are automatically saved
Results are automatically uploaded to the Desktop at SYNC

Hello.
I am a cross country and track coach at St. Pius X Catholic High School (Atlanta, Georgia) and wanted to provide you with a feedback on your timing system (PTT).

As a computer science instructor, I was thinking about writing a software, during the summer, that would help me manage my runner's splits and finish times.

During this track season, I thought about trying out some of the programs that are currently available, so I can develop a better software.

However, I have found your timing software (PTT), after using it once, to be very effective, performing at the top of its class.

I compared it with another software, in the same category and the PTT had more "meaningful" and better features.

I have asked one of the parents (donor) to order the program from you; please send me the latest PTT Desktop files and other updates.

Keep-up the good work and continue to debug/maintain your software to be the best in the field.

Thanks. I got it downloaded and installed. I have played with it enough to know that I would like to purchase it. However, our school budget is not approved for use until after Sept 1. Guess I'll have to wait til then. I have been using my ppc at track and cc meets for three years now, and people are always wanting to see it. Now they will want to buy their own. I bought an armour protecting case for my ipaq. You might want to link to them if you haven't already. It protects against water and dust which we all know is going to happen with these sports. Thank you so much for writing a program with just what I needed. I wasn't going to use my ppc this year because of the lack of a good timing software. Then, I decided to surf around for hopefully some new software. I'm glad I did. Great job!

The .zip file you sent worked like a charm. Seasons are saving...I can't wait to use Team Office this year, it looks like a real slick program.

I've had a number of XC coaches interested in the program, I really do believe it's a real time saver, plus it allows for my runners to get instant feedback from their races in a way I couldn't do before.
